Why Periodic RV Checks Are Important

Nov. 10 2023 RV Tips By Family Fun RV

Here's a quick RV winterization reminder from the Family Fun RV Service Department...

If you plan on putting your RV away for the winter, there's one final step after winterizing it to ensure the RV remains in the same shape as you stored it in. That step is to remember to make periodic checks on your RV throughout the storage season to ensure someone or something else isn't using it. When RVs sit for long periods without anyone going in and out, they become targets for things like squirrels, mice, ants (pretty much all pests) and depending on where you live, they can be prime targets for the unhoused and of course, theft. So, during the next few months while your RV sits idle, be sure to make some periodic checks into it and open everything up to make sure you don't have any unwanted guests!
